October 1, 2009 Targetor supports customers in tight economic situation, sees growth in 2009 and strengthens customer support

 During the tight economic year 2009, Targetor has successfully supported it’s customers in improved efficiency and cost savings. Targetor has acquired numerous new customer in the public sector and cities of Hyvinkää, Espoo and Ylöjärvi and municipalities of Kirkkonummi and Nastola have taken Targetor solutions into use. Further, many Finland based global customer have successfully  used Targetor solutions to improve strategic planning and achived cost savings. As a result, Targetor forecasts growth and positive result in 2009.

 In order to improve the customer support, Maija-Riikka Pantsu has started at Targetor in August 2009. Maija-Riikka has an extensive career in telecommunications and at Targetor she is responsible for the first line customer support and customer satisfaction. We all wish Maija-Riikka success in her challenging tasks.  

10th of February 2009. Targetor continues on a strong growth path - invoicing almost doubled in 2008

Targetor Oy, a leading Finnish software provider for strategy, action and innovation management, continues on a strong growth path in 2008. The invoicing grew almost 100% during 2008 and the company acquired numerous new customers from leading finnish enterprises such as Tokmanni, Moventas Oy, Orion Oyj, Oy Hartwall Ab, Peab Seicon and Itella. Besides the enterprise sector, Targetor grew strongly in the public sector with organizations like Oy Yleisradio Ab, the cities of Pori and Mikkeli and the municipality of Sulkava are now satisfied Targetor customers. In addition to acquiring new customers, the existing Targetor customers expanded the use of the Targetor solutions.

During 2008 Targetor strengthened it's product portfolio by introducing Targetor(r) Cube version 4.0. In addition to this, Targetor acquired Targetor(r) Innomanager, a proven product for innovation management. Despite the general difficult economic situation the Targetor outlook for 2009 remains good and the company continues executing it's business plan and strong growth also in 2009.

19th of December 2008. Targetor strengthens it´s management and innovation solutions

Targetor, a leading Finnish strategy management SW provider has acquired Innomanager into it´s product portfolio. Innomanager is a industry proven product and large finnish corporations such as Orion Oyj and Oy Hartwall Ab are satisfied customers of  Innomanager. Targetor® Innomanager complements the existing Targetor® Cycle and strengthens the scope into innovation management. Targetor® Innomanager enables collection of ideas, product innovation and improvement ideas from a large group of people in the organization including external suppliers and customers. Further Targetor® Innomanager enables efficient classification, evaluation and selection of the most promising ideas. These can the be further developed with the help of Targetor® Workshop and Targetor® Cycle products. The Targetor® products enable the management of innovation from the ideas into market-ready ready products.

 

11th of November 2008.  Targetor present at Silicon Valley top event with Intel charmain Craig Barrett as keynote speaker

Targetor will be present at Discover Oulu event in San Jose on November 18th. The event will focus on presenting the high technology capabilities of Oulu and Targetor is one of the Oulu based companies present in the event. Intel chairman Craig Barrett will share his views on the wireless technology capbilities of Oulu.

1st of October 2008. The Silicon Valley people praised the technological competence of Oulu based companies - Targetor is one of them!

According to the CEO Chuck Erickson, US Market Access Center (USA MAC located in San Jose), Oulu area has excellent technological capabilities, excellent academic societies and good infrastructure for the global success.

 23rd of September 2008. Targetor's and Logica's partnership is strengthening in public sector

The partnership of Targetor Oy and Logica Finland Oy is strengthening in the municipality sector. Targetor has delivered with Logica strategy and annual planning solutions e.g. for the cities of Porvoo and Salo.  Logica is a leading IT-service provider in Europe.

The strategy solutions support especially the follow-up and reporting of action oriented targets for the town councils and boards. In addition, the solutions help the cities to execute and manage strategy through annual plans in the department and unit levels. Targetor strategy solutions adapt to the managing and reporting of strategies in all size of cities, and they can be integrated to the Logica's financial and budgeting solution, if needed.

11th of September 2008. The partnership of Targetor and Talent Partners Public Consulting generates added values for the customers.

Talent Partners Public Consulting is the leading consulting company in Finland and it has focused on the consultation and couching of the public sector and non-profit organizations. Talent Partners Public Consulting is using Targetor-solutions as part of their consulting projects, such as in the merging process of Stakes (National Research and Development Centre for Welfare and Health) and KTL (National Public Health Institute), in consulting projects of the city of Oulu, HUS (Helsinki District of Hospital), Kuntaliitto (Local and Regional Government Finland), Ministry of Employment and the Economy and the Region of Uusimaa.

Targetor-solutions make it possible that larger number of people can participate in the brainstorming and the collecting of information process phases. Targetor group working solutions helps to classify and structure of knowledge, documenting of information, comments and conclusions and they generally improve qualitatively planning processes. Targetor strategy management and execution solutions create the needed framework and dynamic for the strategic management in the customer organizations. 22. August 2008.  Targetor strengthens it's position as the leading supplier of strategy management solutions in Finland.

Targetor Oy has won many significant new customer contracts during 2008 and has established it's position as the leading software tool supplier for strategy management. The leading enterprises such as Moventas Oy, Tokmanni Oy, Peab Seicon Oy and Itella Oy have taken the Targetor Cycle(tm) product into use in order to further strengthen the development and implementation of their business strategies.

Each customer has deployed Targetor Cycle(tm) product fast and the users have taken the product into use effectively. The customers have praised the ease-of-use and the visual outlook of the product. Targetor Cycle(tm) enables easy management of strategy documents and action plans related to the strategic planning and implementation and thus puts the focus on the content of the strategy. In addition, the communication of the company strategy is improved with the use of the tools. Sixten Hjorth, CFO of Tokmanni Oy comments: "Our strategy process has considerably improved and the management of the strategy has improved as the preparation for the implementation of the strategy has moved to the owners of the scorecards. The deployment of the Targetor product was easy and effortless and the implementation of the strategy started very quickly."

15. August 2008. Targetor Oy continues the execution of growth and internationalizing strategy and renews the organization.

Targetor Oy continues on the strong growth and internationalization path according to the business plan. The company actively invests in growing of sales and expansion to the international markets. Therefore, the following nominations have been published in the company.

Kari Kukkoaho has been nominated as the managing director to strengthen internationalization and expansion of the business. Kari is responsible for the operative management of company, finance and sales. Kari has over 20 years experience on R&D, sales, marketing and business development in telecommunication sector. In addition to this, Kari has been in managing positions in start-up companies. Before the nomination to the managing director, Kari has worked as a sales partner in Targetor.  

The former managing director Antti Hintikka begins to strengthen customer relationship management and customer process as the sales and marketing director. Antti is responsible for customer relationship management and its development, the management of sales and marketing and the management of sales channels. Antti, who is the founder of Targetor, has been over 18 years as the managing director and unit director in the international companies - he has also hold managing positions in business development in those companies.

1. August 2008 Targetor launched the new product version for the councils of Kainuu and Oulu Regions based on the release 4 product platform. The solution helps the regions to strenghens their roles in the management of action plans and projects as well as to follow-up their implementations.

30. June 2008 Targetor Oy and JC Innovation Oy have signed a co-operation agreement in June 2008. The co-operation strengthens the services of both companies in the areas of business development. Targetor offers solutions for the management of development actions, whereas JC Innovations provides solutions for innovation and development needs measurement.
